Chia drink

A little while ago, I was talking to someone who had been struggling with cravings for as long as he could remember.
During the day he followed a pretty decent diet, and he also worked out regularly, but every evening he would ruin all this — as well as his chances of finally losing weight — because of an irresistible longing for chips, cookies and other unhealthy snacks.
I often deal with cravings in my work as an orthomolecular nutritionist, and I advised him to try out this super-easy chia drink recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup of purified water
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. fruit juice, e.g. pineapple or blueberry
  • Juice of half a lime
Directions:
In a blender, soak the chia seeds in coconut water for 15 minutes.
Add the fruit and lime juice and blend briefly.
Drink immediately.
Personally, I always make this drink about half an hour before working out, or to prevent the all-too-common afternoon slump.
My client promised he'd give it a try, and when I talked to him again a couple of weeks later he was totally thrilled!
He'd been using this drink two times daily and not only were his cravings completely gone, he also felt a lot fitter and had already lost a significant amount of weight.

What is honoured in a society will be fostered - Aristotle‏

Dahlia Llama - 10 questions

Why are the happiest people the poorest?

Too much greed, limitless desire, source of suffering, individual also.  If you always keep the feeling one more, one more, one more,, until the last day that person never satisfied.  So then mentally that is a very poor person, always hungry.

But if someone is daily fulfilled, that is mental richness.

If all our desire is without self-disapline, then yes you want to kill someone, rape someone, steal from someone, tell lies then if you face a little problem you want to take alcohol, drugs, that is self-destruction.  In order to save yourself from self-destruction you need self-disapline.

Not something form outside, analyze what the consequences.  What are tge consequences of my action.

In spite of the ange, use this intelligence.
